Plus, that soundtrack. And before the whole mask thing, your character is rocking the Mastadon shirt.
I beat it a few years ago and did encounter some of the glitches, the most notable of which is that during the final boss fight, sound effects dropped out entirely and the audio got severely muted as I ripped him to pieces.

Beyond that, it was a fun romp. I never did get around to beating all of the challenge arenas, but I did everything else.

SaidaioJou - really? It was horrible and imo is the worst in the otherwise brilliant Pachi series.

CC - I don't get it, but a lot of people I respect love this game. It feels like a wonderfully made indie game. I think that sways opinions on how good it really is. If it were CAVE / Raizing or something it'd be considered good, not epic.

Futari is outstanding.

Jamestown is top 10 all time for me due to the amount of options and truly distinct difficulty settings and firepower / ships.

None of them equal Deathsmiles.

Deathsmiles and Pro Gear are 1 / 2 for me and they rotate in those 2 positions.

I thought SDOJ sucked too. I forgot that was the one on PS3 right?

HEY GUYS, did we know that another new Giana game was coming out this week?

One with 4P co-op?

 - This made me laugh pretty hard. I'm currently playing Dead Island, and the thought of Lakitu happily hovering around whilst I curb stomp zombies until their heads explode is actually pretty great.

Regarding Dead Island, I went in with pretty low expectations and have been pleasantly surprised to have it defy those expectations. It's not mind blowingly good or anything, but it's not half bad either.

Yep, just had my audio cut during the fight. That ending though, haha. Perfect to go with the vibe of the game.

If you like it I highly recommend Dying Light they really improved on the mechanics and the parkour is a great addition to that game style.

I know that was either a typo or just misremembering the name from childhood (either way completely understandable, I'm not trying to knock you here) but I just got a picture of Luke hovering around in Lakitu's cloud.

Holding the camera in say... Bayonetta 2.

Aaaand now I'm laughing too hard to go to sleep.

Good call! Thanks! Dying Light had definitely been on my radar, but I hadn't yet put it together both these games were developed by Techland. So yeah, it just moved up several spots in my backlog. I'll need to take a zombie cool-down of course, but I'll definitely be checking this one out.

Yeah it's a lot more intense then Dead Island and there is so much more to do. Also the shift in enemies at night is freaking terrifying the first couple of times  . Only thing I didn't care for was the Be the Zombie mode I was so pumped to get into it but it's very unbalanced even with 1 v 4. The few full games I did manage to get into were great, but most of the lobbies were only 1-2 people who raged quickly.
