It's my fault.

She's old, she's a great dog, so I let her get on the couch. I always place a quilt on the couch but Ripley's been kicking the quilt off the couch. This afternoon when I saw her on the couch and the quilt on the floor I threw it over her.

Minutes later, there was her head poking out.

This quilt has been in my family for decades, but sometimes you need to see how funny things can be and laugh.

The quilt is destroyed for sure, and the picture I took doesn't do the situation justice, but seeing Ripley like that was worth every bit of it.

Heads up, a recall on Evangers canned dog food. A drug found in the meat that is used for euthanasia, somebody needs to go to jail!

February 3, 2017 — Evanger’s Dog and Cat Food Company, Inc. of Wheeling, Illinois, is voluntarily recalling specific lots of its Hunk of Beef product due to potential contamination with the deadly drug, pentobarbital.



Pentobarbital can affect animals that ingest it, and possibly cause side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, excitement, loss of balance or nausea — or in extreme cases, death.
