what's the best place for psx roms?

Post by toredauei »

Ive just purchased a ps2 mod chip and would really like to play some ps1 shmup goodness but am having some trouble finding anywhere with a halfway decent amount of ps1 roms. So how about it, whats the best place to get ps1 roms?

Heh... I don't even know if we can discuss this, considering Sony is releasing PSX games on PSN.

Delete my post if necessary, but I always get my DC CDIs from snesorama's forums. I know they host PSX games there too, but I haven't ever downloaded any of em.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

It's not because I frown upon the practice, it's just that my computer for some reason stopped being able to play PSX games. It worked fine, and then suddenly, bam. Nothing. Tried two versions ePSXe as well as the more generically named pSX emulator, and none would work.

Really sucked, cuz emulators are the way I can play my Japanese PSX games.

It can be really hard to find psx isos anywhere besides torrent sites. I only know of 1 that actually has working ones. You can download about 4 per day or pay like 15-20 bucks for unlimited downloading. Oh and make sure your running good security software or you will be attacked. If your still willing to try it the site is http://roms.zophar.net/

Yeah, they released like five games already. PSX library is pretty much covered on PSN.

I would recommend using a torrent tracker. That is your safest and best bet. Underground Gamer specifically
