This is really cool, Bogus linked this to me, and I think everyone should see it.

The first time you mentioned wanting to move to NYC was back in January 2009. If you had saved only $1 every day between then and now, you'd have $2,402...or more than enough for the cost of transportation, a deposit and first month's rent of a shared apartment or even a small studio in a cheaper neighborhood, and basic supplies to live on while you were applying to jobs.Jmustang1968 wrote:REPO Man wrote:Yeah, cuz the better part of $300 is just enough for an NYC move.

I figure he's just hoping he'll be the beneficiary of the next racketboy charity auction at this point. He clearly has no intention to save money on his own, nor any real motivation to actually move to NY.dsheinem wrote:The first time you mentioned wanting to move to NYC was back in January 2009. It's cool, dudes. Totally trustworthy people like Tanooki think REPO can do it. He also thinks you naive kids are fun to watch harassing someone who is totally gonna make it to New York, most definitely.

Even if he gets there, he'll never actually put any effort into becoming a director. We'll just see posts about how he found a thrift store with 3-for-$5 horror flicks, and that he's eating limited-edition Captain America waffles from Krogers, and that he might work 2 hours extra next weekend, depending on the weather.alienjesus wrote:I figure he's just hoping he'll be the beneficiary of the next racketboy charity auction at this point. Don't be silly, New York is where dreams come true! All he has to do is move there and someone will hand him the directors chair and megaphone and point him to the nearest cast of actors ready to get started. And then he can sleep in the enchanted castle and go to Space Mountain in the morning.BoringSupreez wrote:Even if he gets there, he'll never actually put any effort into becoming a director. Oh wait, I might be getting New York confused with Disneyland.

If you do move to NYC you should move to Staten Island.
I swear we don't use lots of hair gel or go tanning anymore. And no one goes to gyms and take steroids. And don't believe the media on the drug epidemic. Also everyone drives very safe by abiding to all traffic laws. No aggresive, giant SUV drivers here.
I am looking move to Jersey myseft to be honest. Somewhere up north or in central NJ.

New Weber grill, pavers, so new "grill station". Burgers tonight.
Big smile: While at the grocery store my wife picked up a bottle of ketchup, swiftly put it back down and announced "I don't want ketchup on my hamburger".
How proud and happy I was.

But ketchup is so good on everything and even better when mixed with mayo.

She's right. All that burger just dilutes the flavor of the ketchup.
