I think they made very slight changes because they crossed "the line" on a few cards. I don't know when they were made but I bought the main set on the 3rd quarter of 2012. I think I have the original cards that were edited out.

A: This game is all about crossing "the line", so I personally feel that's a weak excuse.
B: If you do want to remove, that's fine, but you need to make it apparent that the set has been changed, that was my main argument.
C: If you're curious, changed black cards:

I dunno, like I say I don't have the inclination right now to sort the white cards too, but none of the removed ones really seem extra-offensive compared to the rest of this game?

My CAH set has all of those (well, maybe one or two are missing). I have the removed cards you point out AND the added cards. I got it for Christmas last year.

Weird. I wonder what's going on with that, is it just printing issues? I dunno.

My main set has them all now too, cuz I don't really care about my work-only set, but still

Haven't gone on this thread in awhile. Haven't played either until about two weeks ago. The set I keep in the car came in handy. I have the "named" cards from the this past holidays.

The white card is my full name. The black card says "Here lies [full name], 1988-2015, devoted friend, lover of ______."

I was abused.

Anyway I fell behind on my collecting so I need to pick up the 5th and 6th expansions, the Science Pack, and lastly the 2014 holiday pack.

I've been meaning to get a basic set since I had fun playing this with other couples a few years back. Interesting to hear they removed/redesigned/added cards since the first editions.

I'm really surprised for the love of this game. As Fast said in the early days of this thread, it's basically dirty thoughts Apples to Apples, which I find incredibly boring. There are so many better games that encourage jovial social interaction and actually blend in some skill or chance elements as well, like Quelf.

5th expansion might be my favorite, never thought I'd laugh at something like "my dead son's baseball glove"

That card is so messed up on many levels!

Expansion Six came in today. Great stuff as usual. This leaves me with the 2014 Holiday Pack and the Science Pack.

The latter I am not too sure about. Might be a pass on that one.
