I wish the Panthers would trade Cam. To me he is the definition of the mediocre NFL quarterback. He might get you a winning season, but don't expect more.

Super loss.

The Panthers at one time had a decent qb, two good running backs, a great fullback, and one incredible WR. This was when John Fox kept the opposing DC thinking. They would play in an I form where you had to guess if the next play was a pass or run.

I am no football scholar. I would even say I know very little about the sport as when John Gruden starts talking I barely understand anything he's talking about. "He's going to run an upside down j-hook, while the qb has an iso option and still has the chance to toss a lob to the full back for a square pinch scooby snack on the edge..OR! The qb also can watch for the double T slant on the starboard side as it opens up room for the tight end".

I'd hire Gruden before the interview even started.

But now the Panthers seem to be "West Coast Offensive" first. They don't seem to mix it up like they used to.

As I wrote, I don't know much about the structure of football. But I can always say "they're going to run it" or "they're going to pass it", and be right 90% of the time.

No key player has died on the Lions team so far this year. Hooray. Will we win a playoff game? Maybe some day.

Must be how he talked his way into the best Raiders team in decades and taking Tampa Bay from hero to permanent zero in one off-season.

I wouldn't put much stock into what Gruden has to say. His credentials begin and end with Dungy's Super Bowl ring that he loves to wave around when the camera is pointed at him.

Matt Stafford may be my favorite NFL qb. Even when injured, he insists to play and also performs.

He isn't the best qb in the league, but he sure as hell is one of the best leaders in the NFL.

Yet Dungy had one of the best Defenses, atleast in the NFC, for years and couldnt make waves in the playoffs. Dungy only got there with Peyton.

Haha, yes he is goofy looking, but he is a really great guy too that does a lot of work in the community here in Detroit. He may not be the best quarterback in the NFL, but he is a good one and that is all I can ask for here. We had so many years with garbage. Good guy, good QB and a breath of fresh air for us.
