In your own words - what were your favourite elements of each of the following games?

Please write in each of the text boxes below.

Castlevania
Castlevania is best when it concentrates on the classic metroid formula.
Gradius / Nemesis
I like for the gradius games to challenge my reflexes.
Contra / Probotector
Contra games are best when they remain true to the series side-scrolling roots. Contra always works well in 2D, but never works well in 3D.
Bomberman
Bomberman's strength lies in multiplayer gaming. Bomberman would be a good game to play online IF there is a simple, intuitive way to join online games.
Parodius
I think of Parodius as the fun / easy / irreverent counterpart to Gradius.
Mystical Ninja / Goemon
My favorite Goemon game is Legend of Mystical Ninja for SNES.
Rocket Knight / Sparkster
Rocket Knight Adventures is one of my favorite Sega Genesis games. Consider partnering with WayForward for another installment in this series.
Sunset Riders
I would like to play a Sunset Riders game that gives players the option to point the gun with the Wiimote or auto-aiming via a traditional controller.

If you notice, at the end of the survey, they state this is a "Konami Heritage Games Survey" which would likely explain a few of the missing franchises, like Metal Gear or Silent Hill. Those are likely franchises they consider to still be relevant. That would also mean, Konami doesn't consider Contra or Castlevania particularly relevant franchises.

I was also puzzled that "Multiplatform" meant PC and Phones .... what? PC + Console, just not an option? If that's how they're thinking, no wonder they aren't getting it.

I was surprised to see some of the franchises there, like Sunset Riders and Goemon.

If Konami released some kind of Mystical Ninja anthology, I think most would be forgiven. But chances are they'd announce it, iterate for a year, then fire everyone involved with it and say Goemon is canceled forever. And everyone who has a pre-order would be sent an "I Hate You" letter by them.

Surprising some of the stuff on there with Sunset Riders, Goemon, Gradius, and Parodius as these dont' get much love at all anymore if ever since they popped up.

To be honest 2006 was a good sign of things going down by 2012 the nail was in the coffin. So no surprises

The main thing that bothers me is that they're sitting on all these great, classic IPs that are just going to be used for mobile, or pachinko machines. -_-

If they just give me HD ports of the "Rebirth" games, I will be good. I have played enough Contra, Castlevania, and Gradius games. I don't really need any more.

I really want them to just sell the Castlevania IP to a publisher that'll do something good with it.

Who would fit the bill Namco Bandai or Tecmo Koei?
