What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

:( : Was excited to get a cheap copy of Splinter Cell Double Agent Limited Collector's Edition off Amazon Warehouse the other day, but sadly it was a mislabeled standard edition so it's going back :P. Was also excited since Titanfall(Xbox One) was supposed to be coming in tonight but it looks like it will be delayed by a day.

:) : At least Murdered Soul Suspect came in been wanting to try it out for a while now. Played a little bit on 360, but sold my copy since I wanted the full experience of the PC or Current Gen release.

What's in the collector's edition? I'd be upset if that happened to me.

Consider it an investment in yourself (your comfort, your lifestyle, your standard of living, etc...). Houses are poor investments from a financial standpoint, anyway.

I used to own the collector's edition of that game. It comes with a neat cover and a bonus DVD with some footage. I forget what the footage was of, I think it may have been promo videos.

Not in my neighborhood. I still feel like I struck gold.

Smile: Today I will be playing a game I haven't played in years: Flag Football. Two teams of five, a Nerf football, sixteen hotdogs, a bag of chips, one case of miller lite, and a gallon of lemonade.

The rules are pretty loose, but it should make for a great time. Doesn't hurt that the weather is gorgeous outside. Does hurt that my best WR is 5' and 100 lbs and has the athletic skills of Mr. Bean.

Eh, it's about having fun and not about winning. I'm playing with a Nerf football, how serious can this game be taken?

Smile: It's obvious that during his interview with Nolan Bushnell for his book that Dave drifted off, then when he realized he didn't hear the last name of someone Bushnell referenced he tried to cover it up by mashing his hands on the keyboard to come up with a fake name. He thought no one would notice, but I did.

Moving to a new apartment with a baby is hard work!

We have been here for two weeks now and I have been slowly unpacking things, while juggling an infant. Today my wife finally took our baby out to see her mother and left me here at the house to unpack stuff and get things really settled.

Game consoles on tap are the Gamecube, Wii U, PS3, Dreamcast, PS2. Getting the cables all organized and out of the way is a huge battle, but we are almost there!

Luckily, my wife bought some easily assembled lamps. Phew!

Took me like six weeks to get my game room set up after I moved.

Luckily our game room = our living room. My wife is a firm advocate for my addictions. Most of the time, our guests are encouraged to play something from our selection of multi-player games. Most times people play Mario Kart 8 or Nintendoland, but sometimes we get a few people who are like, "Samba De Amigo? Dreamcast? What are those?" and a big grin spreads across my face. I don't break out the maracas unless they love what they experience, because I can't tell you how many times people are like, "I'm a CRAAAAZZY outgoing person," but when you break out maracas they are like, "Not THAT crazy!"

When we had Rock Band out, we would try and encourage the people who always say they love to sing and get them to do vocals, but they NEVER WOULD! COME ON!!! So I end up belting out like a shrill cat. At least people laugh.
