Awesome!

Like I said earlier, Kirby's Adventure was the first Kirby game I played. Also, it was one of the first NES games I owned. The awesome graphics and game play set a really high bar for NES games with me. Unfairly high.

I'm still kinda blown away by how awesome the graphics are, for a NES game.

I have the 3D Classics version on the 3DS, but I never played through it. It looks pretty neat tho.

SNESdrunk, have you ever played Kirby's Return to Dreamland on the Wii? If not, you really must. It takes everything that was awesome about Kirby's Adventure, it really feels like you're playing an updated version of the game. There's a ton of new stuff, but I don't feel like there was anything added that takes away from the original core game play. Two player co-op was a lot of fun. And the mini games are awesome. Especially Ninja Dojo, my brother and I spent a lot of time playing that one.

I have not, I've barely played anything from that generation. That does sound kick ass though

Ah, you should fix that. :D

The one thing I loved the most about the Wii, and that generation in general, is how there was a lot to offer to retro gamers. Kirby's Return to Dreamland is a perfect example. You'll feel right at home playing it.

I agree with this. Well done.

So what's next on the docket?
Thanks Ack. I like doing concept list videos, the next two are kind of scrapping the bottom of the barrell though: Over/Underhyped Games and High-Priced Collector Games. I got zero ideas after that, unless I go back to SFC RPGs and genre videos but that's such a grind. But there's plenty of general SNES game videos to go, like Battletoads games, Spider-Man games, Phantom 2040, Killer Instinct, Soul Blazer, and evennnnnnnnntually, Earthbound.

Well, October is coming. Why not go for a theme like SNES horror games? Or do games based on a comic book company, like all the Marvel, DC, or third party comic book games, not including Japanese manga? Or all the Disney movie platformers?

I for one would like to know which Disney SNES games are worth playing and which to stay away from.

So, Disney movie games... that's Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, Pinocchio, Jungle Book, Toy Story... any others?

If you just want platformers, yes. If you want to expand it to other genres, there is also Timon & Pumbaa's Jungle Games and the import Alice no Paint Adventure.

Other Disney games for the SNES that you could cover would be Goof Troop, Bonkers, Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow, Donald Duck no Maho no Boshi, The Magic Quest Starring Mickey Mouse, The Great Circus Mystery Starring Mickey & Minnie, Mickey's Ultimate Challenge, Mickey Mania, and Disney's Magical Quest 3.

It's worth noting also that Snow White: Happily Ever After for the Super Nintendo is NOT based on the Disney film.

I think he limited it to games based on Disney movies, and I don't think that any of those are based on Disney films. (There might have been a Goof Troop movie, however...)

Yeah, that's why I gave them a separate paragraph and said "could cover."
