Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

we are not in next gen, it's is current gen.
nothing would be a good retro compilation because what are you going to do add HD that dose not do much.

ignore 8bitCaged, he has sand in his vagina.

I wouldn't be surprised if we got ANOTHER Namco Arcade Classics collection, featuring the same old tired games we have on every other system ever. I would like to see more NeoGeo collections though, with some sweet online play or something.
The Sonic Genesis Collection is a step in the right direction, packing some of the very best games on the system (and yet missing a few essentials, wtf?). I would like to see that continue, with 32X/CD/Saturn games. This is 2009, you can pack a fucking TON of data on a Blu-ray, you could fit hundreds and hundreds of games on a single disc. I have just about every Genesis/SNES/NES/GB(A)/NEOGEO/PC-E game I could ever want to play on my SD card. They could do much MUCH more than what they are doing now.

wow, this post went on a lot longer than I thought

I'm planning to make the YDL partition on my PS3 all the retro I need. It'll mostly be arcade beat 'em ups, fighters and shmups, as well as a few arcade classics like Donkey Kong, Frogger and Pac Man.

I'd really like to see Sega stop ignoring their Saturn and Dreamcast libraries. I'd also like to see Konami bring some of their under-appreciated classics (Like Snatcher and Suikoden II) to PSN and XBLA.

I'd also like to see Treasure make a compilation disc. If they included either Radiant Silvergun or an online co-op Guardian Heroes, I'd buy it ASAP.

I'm having a hell of a time tracking down copies of Taito Legends 1 and Capcom Classics 1 for the original Xbox.

I'd love to see those games brought over to the PS3 - I loves me some Rastan, 1942 and New Zealand Story...

the7k makes a good point on Sega "ignoring" the Saturn lineup. Who wouldn't want an anthology with NiGHTS, Panzer and Virtua Fighter?

I'd like to see an Atari 2600 collection done in Scalable Vector graphics for the Xbox 360. :P

Well, Sega of Japan hasn't forgotten; the Sega Ages collection on the PS2 is a huge library of older Sega titles remastered, including many Saturn games.

Check out the Dynamite Deka (Die Hard Arcade) rehash. I'd really like to get that. http://hg101.classicgaming.gamespy.com/ ... aages7.htm

I'd personally prefer digitally distributed games rather than a disc-based retro collection - imagine if SEGA wrote a Saturn emulator for the PS3 & 360, then digitally released their classics on PSN & XBLA. Awesomesauce.
