I might consider starting that soon. I got the first episode of Resident Evil Revelations 2 w/ some Steam credit and after 40 mins I feel overwhelmingly meh about it. Glad I didn't buy the full game at once.Stark wrote:I don't know about how it plays on the tablet, but I've played episodes 1 - 3 and it is now my favorite TT game and one of the funniest games I've played. I've got some Google Play Store credit, but curious how it plays on a tablet?

Damn Rare Replay is awesome. Played through a bit of Conker and then played a few of the snap shot challenges for the older games which were great. Can't wait to unlock some of the bonus videos as well they even have a few for unreleased games that look awesome.
The only thing I wish this compilation had was online multiplayer for the older games, but hell given the quantity of quality content and the price point I'm simply amazed by this collection. No longer regretting selling my copy of Conker's Bad Fur Day
.
Edit: Between this and the Master Chief Collection my Xbox One HD is taking a real pounding.
Rare Replay= 46GB
Master Chief Collection= 80GB Really wish they had just gone with the two discs(swapping would break immersion my ass you penny pinchers
) option as opposed to claiming 1/5th of the harddrive
.

How does Rare Replay works? You have to install each game on the hardrive?
I saw some videos of it and the presentation alone is incredible, i could call it the best presented compilation on existence.

I've not played the newer Monkey Island game yet, but I'm guessing, based on it's heritage, it has a lot more of the typical inventory puzzle games than Borderlands does. A good analogue would be interactive fiction as a base. Then add QTEs and very smart musical intros. Then wrap it in a comic-book style wrapper.mjmjr25 wrote:Is it a point n' click adventure like Tales from Monkey Island?Stark wrote:I don't know about how it plays on the tablet, but I've played episodes 1 - 3 and it is now my favorite TT game and one of the funniest games I've played. Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I believe you have to install both the 360 and N64 games to harddrive according to some reports at least all 30 are on the disc though. There are however reports that the N64 games don't function without the first patch and the 360 games require you to use the 360 dashboard.noiseredux wrote:You have to install the 360 games apparently.
Really digging the collecting in this compilation not only are there a boat load of achievements through XBL(one of the selling points on the box is "10,000 game score"
This compilation would be great for a party to since there are quite a few 2-4 player games and the snapshot challenges would be great for passing the controller around.
