Re: Anyone using K-meleon browser ?
I used it a long time ago when I was using it on a Pentium 200Mhz laptop that I used as a front-end to a MP3 jukebox

I'm just too addicted to the additional features Firefox gives me. If you really want small, tight, and fast go with Opera. For lightweight browsers it's still the one to beat, though some of the stripped-down webkit-based browsers also compete well.

I think I used to run it on similar hardware way back when.racketboy wrote:I used it a long time ago when I was using it on a Pentium 200Mhz
These days my 1.8GHz Core2Duo is plenty fast enough for Firefox. Not to mention as in the above post, I'm thoroughly addicted to Firefox addons (Server Spy, Flagfox, FireGPG, Adblock Plus, Noscript, etc, etc).

Well k-meleon has ad block which to me was the main reason i kept using firefox. And i've noticed it loads pages faster most notably on images i know there are plugins for firefox that offer that but im not a fan of running a bloated browser.elvis wrote:I think I used to run it on similar hardware way back when.racketboy wrote:I used it a long time ago when I was using it on a Pentium 200Mhz

I have tried Opera but i was not happy with how embedded video players worked in it switching to fullscreen seems to take more effort for Opera.I'm just too addicted to the additional features Firefox gives me.
