That links says I can buy one new again for $40 online.

I really did want that thing for the longest time, but they just refused to allow the best games the Vita has to run on it and that was the solitary death blow in my book and I believe a lot of other peoples too.

There are few people mumbling that whenever they completely deep six the Vita they will just say fuck it and remove the white list. Sucks that the touch and camera gimmicks will prevent a good number of games from being completable even in the rare chance they do that though.

If they did in fact white list it, or some smart hacker white lists it for them, I'd grab it.

I don't care about the camera games, but some with touch I do a lot they've annoyingly blocked. I get they packed it with a PS3 pad, but the PS4 with touch on it works the same with PSTv so they should have had the courtesy to allow that as a choice so stuff like Uncharted worked.

I had 5 games when I had it, 4 of them are blocked from playing, so that's why I never got it.

There is an option to use the DS4 touch pad in the settings, but it's restricted to mostly navigating menu's.

Thing that bugs me is there are more games that have been patched to work with the TV in Japan, but they haven't gotten around to bringing those patches stateside.

Oh I know it works, it's insult to injury, but I was eluding to them just bundling it with the PS3 controller. You are right though, they have patched some nice stuff in Japan, yet they won't do it here. It's a sad day when hackers make you look stupid and get your best games working on your self crippled hardware.

They need to either white list the lot, or stop releasing firmware entirely and defacto let people download the hacks to run the games they stubbornly block. Mind you that's still I don't believe a total fix because I doubt unless the hackers also create Vita card hacks to allow the PS4 pad to work with them you'd get very far. I think Uncharted would be fine, you just wouldn't get some of those extras you dust off, but the primary game would function if I recall but it has been years.

I went to Gameplop last week. I bought one of those Zelda adventurers kits. It's a faux-leather 3DSXL pouch with a Master sword stylus, a hyrule shield stylus and a faux-chamois that looks vaguely like a map of hyrule.

The main thing for me is the faux-leather pouch. I think that looks cool as can be. These kits keep selling out, so when I saw one left on the shelf, I had to scoop it up.

:) Twenty bucks. Not a bad price.

I've never heard of that but it looks excellent for the price, even if it is pleather or whatever the material is and having another anti-smudge wipe around for the 3DS is a good thing. I just use my red club nintendo pouch when its alone or when stored in this case that holds 4 games and my tiny earphones from the gameboy I keep in there.

Cashier at GameStop asked if I owned an Xbox One. I said no and she said "oh you must be one of those PC gamers."

When console gamers look at you with disdain, you know you have made it my friend.

I got that the other day too...I just smiled and handed up a copy of The Oregon Trail for the Nintendo Wii...along with a 20% off coupon. I think that said it all.
