:) Saw a play last night that my sister was in. It was pretty good (even if I couldn't understand a lot of what was being said) and my sister did really well too. She's not the best with social stuff so it's really nice to see her getting out and having fun.

:o On the way back we hit a deer! Luckily we didn't hit it head on (just with the side of the car) and nobody was hurt but it was still a bit scary. Bit more shocked now than I was then though, cause I was really tired last night.

:D Tomorrow I move to the States! I'm super excited despite being really nervous about the border and traffic. Hopefully I'll actually sleep tonight!

The problem is that I really, really need to study. I have to study three whole subjects for September 1. I can go out and have some semblance of social life, but I can't get involved in anything bigger than that until I'm done. :(

Oh, I'm doing fine in that regard, it's simply that everyone leaves in August. I'm not kidding when I say my town looks like a ghost town, specially while the sun is still high in the sky.

:( I ordered chiken with lemon sauce but there was no lemon suace.
:) I think I'll make some of my own tomorrow, should be fun

I was going to say you only need to show your passport and you are in but then I remembered the US gets retinal scans of visitors

^I didn't know the US did retinal scans o_o I've done the full body scan, face photo, and maybe finger prints but that was only at the airport so that's not what I'm worried about.

I just don't like how intimidating they are and how they always manage to ask a question I wasn't prepared for. Plus I'm hoping they don't want to search the car, since that would delay the trip quite a bit, but they didn't when I first moved down so maybe they won't?

Plus I always worry that they'll send me back, even if they've never done that with me before and I doubt they would have a reason to do so. Just silly irrational thinking >,<;

But things went downhill the first day of my new job as a farm equipment custodial technician. I rode my bike, it's a Huffy. Not the cheap ones from today, but a 1992 model. I ride a girls model. I care more about performance than apperance and they are just easier to get on. When I got there after a 3-hour uphill ride I was told they didn't have enough work for me so I headed home. There's a great 99-cent store where everything is $7 between here and my uncle's grand-daughter's adopted stepsister's house where I stay. It's on a different road though which is also uphill.

When I got there they were having a b5b2g1TO (that's a buy 5, then buy 2, get 1 10% Off) sale, so obviously I was stoked. I know i'll be getting a ton of hours next week (my boss said that would probably be a possibility of maybe happening) so I loaded up on some classic horror films (Nightmare on The EL at the 21 Hop Street Massacre and others). I spent $87.44, but it would have been $87.91 without the promotion, so I feel good about it. I bought a bunch of baking goods too from there.

When I got home (I forgot I had rode my bike, so I walked home) I was tired. I decided to make some Zuchini, liver, clam and cocoa brownies. They weren't very good - not that I would know. My uncle's grand-daughter's adopted stepsister's neighbor's kid was over (You remember him) and he ate them all before I could even try it. Then my uncle's grand-daughter's adopted stepsister's cousin's masseuse (who stays in the cellar) asked me to do the dishes from the brownies I made. I said no way. I didn't even get to try one.
Am I the only normal person around here?
There's only one place my brain goes when I attempt to read this.

I have never been across the US-Canada border. Is it usually a long wait? Where are you headed in the US?

Ha, I wish it was that easy to get a citizenship! Don't know how difficult it is to actually get one (I'm getting a student visa right now) but I've heard it's pretty difficult and time consuming ><

Really depends on when you go, where you cross, and how you cross. Most of the time for me (if I'm going by car) it's been a 30-45min wait, but I've waited as little as 10mins and as long an ~1hr.

And I'm heading to the Seattle area :)

:D - finally moved to a closer store so I'm saving on gas finally and not getting moved around as much...
:| - haven't had much time to game lately because my sister has been wanting to watch movies on my vcr with me after i get home from work which is fun but I'd rather be playing games or teaching myself how to program.

:) / :? - bought some stuff to finally start cooking my meals for work and everything but forgot a few things and don't even know where I'm going to start since it's supposed to be a lot more healthy stuff(so yes there is a small bit of organic stuff in tossed in there). Might be fun to see how this turns out, already had some potatoes a few days ago that we lined one side of the dish with it, green beans, and chicken(the three rows plus ranch mix tossed on top and it was the best I think we've done in a long itme)
