There have been reports of both software compatibility and hardware driver issues of USB headsets and printers. Best to confirm all of these thru each manufacturer before the Win 10 upgrade. Most hardware and software will be fine, good to research first though.
my gaming PC isn't hooked up to any printer, and my headset is not USB. Though the headset thing is related to gaming, it's a non-issue for me. So just to reiterate, my concerns with upgrading my gaming PC are 100% gaming-related.
I've already confirmed my GPU (Nvidia GTX 970) and mobo (ASRock Z97 Extreme 3) are good to go as far as drivers are concerned. So I guess I'm just looking to see if anyone's had any game-related issues pop up since the upgrade?

But again, all of this is sort of whatever. I had been using Win10 since November so for the most part the OS itself isn't really anything new to me - but I just really want to make sure that there's no huge problems game-wise before taking the plunge on my main gaming PC.
I know for a fact you can't play ANY of the original NES, SNES or N64 cartridges on your pc.
I just upgraded my main PC last night; haven't really dove into any games yet (especially since my current ones are DOSBox based). So far the only complaint I have is the 512 item Start Menu bug; if you Start Menu folder on disk has more than 512 shortcuts in it the rest get cut off from the Start Menu. It's a known issue being worked on but a bit annoying.

Incorrect, the Retrode is Win10 compatible and will play SNES and N64 games.
To make life easier on Windows 7 and 8.1 converts, Microsoft will allow you to rollback your Windows 10 installation to the previous operating system for 30 days post-upgrade. Don’t worry—if you want to come back later, you can still take advantage of the free Windows 10 upgrade for the next year.
8.1 only lightly sucked less than 8. I ended up being annoyed at the forced metro tile and installed 'classic shell' to make it look and behave like Windows 7 until 10 arrived. 10 is amazing, I put it there with 7 if not above it (but far too early to say that it is above it for certain.) I like the tablet/phone touches with cortana, the Netflix app I installed(sure there's far many other good free ones too), and the non-forced tiles are a nice touch in how they're handled.
