Also, where did you snag that XRGB-3 and for how much?

Lol... hey, functionality before form! We got that projector on sale for 599 (normally 1,500-2,000ish) at best buy.

as for the XRGB-3, had friend in Japan send it to me. You really can't find them here any more.

edit: http://jimport.ch/
This guy can get them for you for around 450 shipped. Imo, it's worth every cent because it's really a must have if you play retro games on anything but a high end arcade monitor.

Fun room, good games, system and set-up.

yeah the XRGB-3 is nice. They changed it a little bit from the XRGB-2 some things got better some worse. My XRGB-2 failed so I went with DVDO i-scan which are more expensive but easy to find. I'm just upscaling to 1024x768 most of the time anyway as my LCD is native there and no retro games exceed that resolution. I play HD stuff on a CRT, no input lag for Street Fighter 4 here.

Do you own the place you are staying? WIth a low output projector like that your surface is SOOOO important. Paint the wall with this stuff - http://www.screenpaintsupply.com/Products.php

dude... where'd you get the HDD Dock???

I didn't know those exist, that'd be super useful for me. Does it support hot swapping?

lol...

its a college owned.. Looks awesome with the sheet. duno if i'de paint it even if i did. I like the XRGB-3 a lot more than the 2, I've never had any troubble poping it into XRGB-2 mode and with the Wii being so low res, its a major help with a 1080p projector. ( I also run my mod'ed PS2 and XBOX though it, helps to step up all thoes standard rest systems nicely)

HDD Dock you can get from tigerdirect.com (the ONLY place to buy pc stuff.. unless your a newegg fan boy then their ok but not quite as good, w/e)

i swap back and forth from tiger and newegg... sometimes one has a better price then the other.

newegg used to always have great prices... but they've been getting more expensive lately.

I prefer the search tool at newegg though

If I am not mistaken that dock is the BlacX by Thermaltake. Sata connectors, solid build, eject button is the only negative.
