While not quite the same, I was quite disappointed that the PS3 port of Jet Grind Radio still had the slowdown. Felt very authentic, but also annoying

There are emulators out there that allow for this. It's my favorite emulation advantage.
For example with NES, my favorite emulator FCEUX allows you to remove sprite flicker by ticking the "Allow more than 8 sprites per scanline" box.
