Mkay, so I've played through the game once and right now I'm doing a New Game + and trying to get all the endings. I just got the ending you can get as soon as you go to the End of Time for the first time, and apparently the next one I can get "The second time you visit 600 A.D.", which is cool and all, but... Mkay.
As soon as I go there, do I just warp back and fight Lavos again, or do I have to trigger a specific event before going back to the End of Time? I just don't want to fight Lavos and get the same ending again because I didn't do something I was suppposed to. D:

As I recall, it triggers upon stepping into the middle ages. You can check to make sure your save file is listed as "The Legendary Hero" or something similar.
