Dave doesn't want to pay me royalties, and that has a lot to do with the lack of RB reference.
You'll be hearing from my lawyers Dave,
Frown: I had to show proof to my wife that a buzzfeed article was wrong. She's usually the voice of reason, but called me an "Idiot" because I called an article complete bullshit.
Her: Well how do YOU know that Pangea wasn't broken up due to a meteor? What scientific journals do you read everyday, Idiot?
Me: It's on BUZZFEED you Moron! (I shouldn't have called her a name in retaliation, but I couldn't believe I had to reply to her calling me an idiot). How the dinosaurs became extinct and how our continents separated are both based on theories. This dumb ass video didn't even mention tectonic plate theory. Yeah, it is a theory that a meteor killed the dinosaurs. Never been proven. Use your brain.
Anytime there is a possibility of her being wrong, she goes into super defensive mode, and although I love her, it ticks me off. She can't be wrong, at anything (know anyone like that

Pangaea was already broken up by the time the dinosaurs were wiped out.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
The main thing is my wife, my wife, questioned my intelligence due to a buzzfeed video.
The argument reminded me of this:
She's going to trust some bullshit from buzzfeed and then call me an idiot for pointing out their bullshit. I mean, for fucking crying out loud. To see her being so dumb was infuriating.
And the two douches spouting out the nonsense were flamboyant want to be hipsters and their "Presentation" was meant to hold the attention of a child.
Trying to let this go, but seeing someone so smart being so dumb is difficult. She just can't be wrong ever, as her parents never told her she was wrong. If you accuse her of being wrong she throws a tantrum. Like a child. When we first started dating she threw a tanturm around her parents and all they said was "That's who she is". Fuck that. Mike Singletary.

Funny, I don't see anything about meteor impacts there.
That doesn't mean dinosaur farts didn't break up the continents though! (See, I could write for Buzzfee scuzzfeed.)

If it makes you feel any better, my mom taught me that the sky is blue because it's reflecting the oceans, along with that whole sectorized tongue taste thing.

Buzzfeed should stick to their "50 vacation spots pretty white girls need to visit before they turn 30" and "this girl was __________-shamed and her response was FIERCE" articles. Science is not their forte.

That also drives me nuts.BoringSupreez wrote:sectorized tongue taste thing.
Good news within the past few minutes: I recently wrapped up a program for a local agricultural company. The work was bonkers, but I love a challenge and the pay was fitting.
They want me back for additional consulting. They also passed me on to other companies in the same field who need consulting. And by consulting I mean software programming. Which means math, which I love, which means I'm getting giddy.
It also means I need to understand the business of landscaping/killing bugs/contracts with large businesses like Universities and what they entail.
I'm very hand-on, so I plan on spending time learning the floor work and understanding the business from the bottom to the top.
Never thought I'd tap into lawn care, but I am excellent at pushing profit and cutting expenses. Most of these companies are still using paper for their expense reports and paying a CPA a shit ton to do what I can accomplish in a week or less. The guys and gals in this business are far from stupid, but are so busy that they don't have the time to think about "business". Their marketing is non-existent. Most companies are happy with where they are at, but could achieve much more. As long as money is the bank, all is good. Not aggressive enough for a market that wants great service.
Plus flat fees. The fee for a job is based on past services and there is a fear of negotiating. You explain the math of increased costs of goods, no way someone would turn you down when you already have a solid relationship. It's sales 101.
Looking forward to how this pans out, even if I don't pursue it.
