I like SMB 2, but as far as Mario games go, I think 3 is just such an awesome game. The worlds are so varied and immersive
I am glad that we got the re-skinned Doki Doki Panic rather than the super hard single player rehash of the 1st game.

Sonic CD is my favorite sonic game, ever.
Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic 3, to me, feel like a Sonic and Disney mash up game. They felt like Sonic guest starring in a Mickey Mouse quest. All the bouncing, jumping...just didn't feel like Sonic. The music as well.
Eh. We like what we like.

I got a similar vibe. Had a really hard time getting into 3 or Sonic & Knuckles after loving 2 so much.
For me it's Sonic 2>Sonic CD>Sonic Pocket Adventure>Sonic 1>Sonic Adventure>the rest. Although if I was including more spinoff-ish games, I suppose I would shove Spinball up there somewhere.

I've never been much of a booster for the Sonic games, but I did play a lot of Sonic Advance, and beat all the Genesis entries, Sonic CD, and Pocket Adventure. Oh, and Sonic Adventure 2.
I like Freedom Planet more than all of them, but that's because, despite looking like a Sonic clone, it's not really.

Re: Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?
My opinion on the 2d sonic games is sonic 1>sonic 3>sonic and knuckles>sonic 2. I've only ever played sonic cd once so I have no clue as to how good it is.
My biggest problem with sonic 2 is the bonus game. It's garbage compared to blue spheres and the game in the first one. I also think the stage order is no good. Chemical plant zone should have come later in the game and oil ocean would have been better earlier.

Of the ones everyone's mentioning, my opinion is:
Sonic 2 > Sonic 3 > Sonic 1 > Sonic CD
I think Sonic CD is incredibly overrated. Although the Japanese version has a great OST at least.

Sonic 2 > Sonic CD > Sonic 1 > Sonic Pocket Adventure > Hydlide > Quest 64 > Atari E.T. > Sonic 3 > 52-Card Pickup > raking leaves > Sonic & Knuckles

You must be the only person on earth who does. Seriously, I have never seen anyone say that they like "Motherfucker Mike". Hell, practically everyone hates the guyBoneSnapDeez wrote:I like Motherfucker Mike.
There/s a guy defending Sonic 2006 but for me this is the really controversial stuff Bone

Why all the MM hate? Dude seems chill and likes Atari. I approve.
