I'm going to have to check out that gangsta show. I adored Black Lagoon and haven't found much else similar that I've enjoyed nearly as much.

It's similar to Black Lagoon in that it has likable characters who also mercilessly slaughter dozens of people in pretty brutal ways pretty much every episode. They don't really have a solid Rock style character in the show though which is one thing I really liked about Black Lagoon. There are a few semi innocent side characters, but everyone is corrupted in one way or another.

CB yeah, but regarding Trigun I've heard the old "It starts out awesome then tails off" from many

I really think it helps to be at least a little familiar with other anime before watching CB, that way it's able to be appreciated more. I remember seeing it way back when on Cartoon Network and didn't understand at all what the big deal was. Then I got familiar with other stuff, and years later I can really appreciate CB - the artwork, backgrounds, pacing, music, among other things... all top notch compared to 99% of other anime.
I'm decently new to Anime, but I've gotten familiar with other series before I watched Bebop (Sword Art Online, Ghibli films, and a couple episodes of Naruto (really not a fan of that Anime, tbh....lol) being some easy ones). So, that definitely helped. :)

Pretty true, honestly. Though, I still hear some people who are pretty mixed on the latter half of Trigun, whereas Bebop is talked about for it's entire run, basically.

I'm on disc 6 of Death Note and I don't know that I'm necessarily a fan of where the show has gone since the end of the first part of the show. (I'll avoid spoilers but there's a super pivotal point in the story that I think people who have watched the show will know that I'm talking about). It's still super likable but it's gone down from seemingly god-tier in my book.

Don't worry, it picks back up in the last bit. Finale gets epic and I loved the ending.

Fair enough. Trigun does kind of go off into a tangent of sorts.

I feel like Trigun's tonal shift is better done in the manga (though that thing is hard to read; way too much onomotopeia that obscures the art).

I just saw the last naruto movie (that's the actual name) and it reminded me everything i love about that show and everything i hated

In theory is the story on how Naruto and Hinata fall in love... but yeah in the middle there's a battle in the moon with two giants, saving the world from the moon falling and them having a metaphoric connection with a red scarf... yeah you know what are my problems with this movie are the same with the show; it goes WAAAAAAY TOO OVER THE TOP!

At the beggining of the movie i was "oh i should watch naruto again" and at the end "now i remember why i quit that show".
