I should also mention the Competition Pro, which are a bit pricier, but definitely worth getting if you can find them cheap.Michi wrote:I shall look into them, thanks!o.pwuaioc wrote:Seconded. If you really get into the system you may want to track down a good third-party stick. The "official" C64 stick is bad.

IS there a floor of any kind? What about studs? If you have a subfloor and studs, and just need to sheet rock/finish the floor - its pretty easy work. Doors are always a bitch though.BoneSnapDeez wrote:I'd essentially be adding walls, flooring, a door, and a few other touches. Yes I have a subfloor and studs - otherwise the job would be way too daunting for me.fastbilly1 wrote:IS there a floor of any kind? What about studs? Yeah, the issue with the doorway is that it's only about 6 feet tall. I'll probably end up making a simply wood door to fit it (this was done in another area of the garage "attic" which is where this room is).

Awesome, you got this. A six foot tall door is not impossible to find anymore. Many stores, like Home Depot, can order you a custom sized door and frame for a slight upcharge. Or you could just get a solid core 6'8" one and chop off the bottom 8" with a table saw (make sure it is solid though). If you have a repurposing store (Habitat for Humanity retail store or a family run one) nearby they might have an old door that is sub 6' from an old house.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Yes I have a subfloor and studs - otherwise the job would be way too daunting for me.

You can also get some old gutters and tanks. You know, for when you put in your own hydroponic system.

Where to go besides the usual Google search?

Cards arrived today and they are everything I wanted and more.
Dudes, if you can't think of a gift for someone these things are an awesome go to. But order in advance as they take a while to print out and ship. Still, they said "arrival date July 27th" and they're here.

Re: The Advice Thread
HALP!

Little help please.
Earlier I had no issue with this, but now...ugh.
1 spreadsheet with three separate pages. The grand total combines the page totals of the three into one number. So now I have a grand total for January.
Now I have a separate spreadsheet for February. Same set up, but I want to add the grand total from January to the grand total from January to create a "Running total".
So the formula I used was:
=SUM(E43:Z43)+'Vehicle '!B45+Sheet2!B45+=B44+Sheet2!B45+'Vehicle '!B45
But it doesn't cross reference between the two pages.
tldr/ how do I cross reference one number to the next separate sheet to create a running total?
I simply want to add one number to another.

Luke's wife is cute...... Oh yeah, the cards. Those aren't bad looking either.
Wish I could help with the Excel. I actually took a class in it years ago but didn't retain much. Thankfully we have some computer whizzes here.

Wel I'm not an Excel genius by any means, my favorite thing to do is put in lots of information about stupid things I care about and make pie charts or graphs out of them.
Anyway, Luke, I did rustle up some links that might be helpful for you:

If that doesn't help you can always try this:

You have no clue on how many times I get told "Wow. I'm not saying you are ugly, but your wife is beautiful". She rarely wears makeup, and kind of just rolls out of bed looking astounding. And not that I don't turn heads myself, but when I tell people I look like gonzo and Mr. Burns had a baby with one hand they usually say "I can see that".BoneSnapDeez wrote:Luke's wife is cute...... And yeah, I bring her up a lot because I'm crazy about her. People still assume we are newlyweds because we can't keep our hands off each other. Not creepy PDA stuff, but we are usually holding hands or sneaking in a little kiss on the cheek. And getting married turned "flame on" to "supernova". Being in love is something else.
And you! Ask your computer whizzes. Please. I know it's just one stupid mistake I made in the formula.
It's Total from one sheet, plus Grand Total from another sheet. It should be simple.
