Ha! Well, I do like to visit there from time to time. There are places that are nice there. :)

I sometimes joke about California in the same way, but I'd probably feel differently if I visited there. One day, one day...

EDIT: Okay, I take it back, I know there has to be so much video gaming stuff in that state that it'd be horrible to lose it. Stay, California! Don't let that next mega-quake drop you into the ocean!

EDIT 2: Note that I wasn't concerned for the people first, it was the games. (Yes, I'm kidding on all of this, clearly. Or am I? ;) )

Yeah, but if we lose Florida, then where will the old people go to die?

Horrible theater shooting in Lafayette, Louisiana. Praying for those involved.

In the meantime, there are folks jumping to conclusions all over the place, and it's about to drive me crazy. If you want to lose faith in humanity, just read the comments sections on most news sites. It's enough to make me want to hurl.

Thank goodness I never had to do that, but I've certainly heard the horror stories.

In 2003 I worked for six months as an assistant manager of a Fred's dollar store. I still have PTSD from that experience.

If there isn't crime, how do lawyers make money?

If there isn't disease, how do doctors make money?

If there weren't professional sports teams, how would we entertain idiots?

I'm being very, little, serious here.
