I throw out packaging, it's stupid to me to keep it in there. I get there's hype around them, but short of a store exclusive none of them are or will be honestly rare. Nintendo claims to be sorting out the wave 1 shortages in another couple months if that is true. Ultimately the interest will fade as Nintendo keeps doing more or moves on and they'll end up sitting in used stacks right along side of Infinity 1.0 and past Skylander character sets.
If I could get an unboxed one for $15 or something shipped and $20 for a sealed one I'd be fine by that. The box would be if it's new thrown out. They're going on my work/home desk here along the edges of my dual monitors for work.

Nice that they were willing to hold them for you. It's actually against GS policy to hold Amiibos.
I did not know this. Very nice indeed. I am just like 3mi from the store and I said I'd be there in under 30min, but the guy told me he'd hold it until the end of the day. That was about the end of the verbal agreement as I went out the door.
I doubt she'll be hard to come by, but then again they're amiibo. I'd grab it, but as a matter of principle until I have Pit, that isn't happening.
Personally I wish they'd do a Toon Zelda one, but she's not in Smash Bros, just as something to go with Link, or even the Ganon from that game as the look is excellent.

for what its worth, the newest batch (palutena ganon etc) are easy to find over here
there have also been restocks of every rare figure at this point too
Worth a good bit really. If they're keeping them now going forward overly stocked in your region of the world, it will be something to look at going into the next wave. My feeling is that the scalpers will be trying to ruin some kids/adults Christmas gift hunting snapping up everything legitimately possible with things they feel collectors will get wood over and want like 4x that much for Christmas panic buying. The scalper culture here due to the extended economic problems brought on by the leadership here begs for people to pull that garbage more and more by the year. Stuff like the 8bit Mario, Duck Hunt, and the ROB I could see people poaching with extreme prejudice.
I want to hope that they are easier to find, with wave 5 I have imported zss, ganon, dark pit, palutena, dr Mario, bowser jr, yarn yoshis, and pikmin & olimar but more for out of not having to wait til Sept for most of these.
I hope that this under stock b.s. is done because I still want R.O.B., duck hunt, and game & watch.
