Yeah I sold my PS4 since I needed the cash a while back and I'm really not that phased by it. Played through quite a bit on it Infamous Second Son, Thief, Far Cry 4, Destiny, Shadows of Mordor and etc., but really it was like I would have a 20 hour spurt here and there when I got a new game and then it was right back to collecting dust. I actually spent more time playing 360 and PS3 games while I had the PS4. I will pick it up again eventually, but probably a few years down the road when I can hopefully find one for $100-150 and there are a good supply of bargain bin games.
Aside from their slow adoption of online, and questionable hardware choices I would say Nintendo is extremely smart when it comes to keeping an iron hold on their own IPs and making systems which thanks to oddball control setups lead to a bunch of exclusives even if many are of questionable quality.
