In Marvel VS Capcom 2 (Dreamcast), I've noticed that when my opponent and I are in the left corner, the volume on the sound effects lower. When we move to the right, the volume of the sound effects increase. The volume of the music remains the same however.
The game has only recently started doing this.
Odd Audio Problem in Marvel VS Capcom 2 (DC)
Re: Odd Audio Problem in Marvel VS Capcom 2 (DC)
Sounds like you're only getting mono audio out. Check your cables and system settings.
Re: Odd Audio Problem in Marvel VS Capcom 2 (DC)
The audio is set to Stereo within the game, and the cables are all hooked up properly.

Are you getting sound out of both speakers?
Re: Odd Audio Problem in Marvel VS Capcom 2 (DC)
I definitely have stereo sound. The background music is clearly coming out of both my left and right speakers. It is strictly the sound effects that fade when i move toward the left side of the screen. However, when i move to the right, and the volume increases, it IS coming out in stereo.

I thought this was going to be about the music. I was going to say, the music is supposed to suck.

Are you using composite cables or RF Adapters? I have had tons of weird problems with the RF stuff, and if there's some kind of video interference then the sound gets wacky, although it's usually in the form of an anoying buzzing sound, especially if two different RF adapters are right next to each other.
Anyway, I reccommend using composite or better if you're not.

I am using composite. All my other Dreamcast games are functioning properly. Which leads me to believe that the problem is with the game itself...
I think the music is awesome. A colorful game needs a colorful soundtrack.corn619 wrote:Luckily, theres ways to burn custom soundtracks into the game.Reverend wrote:And my god does it suckcorn619 wrote:I thought this was going to be about the music. I was going to say, the music is supposed to suck.
