Now I have had tilapia that would make a slim jim taste lie a delicacy, but tilapia has become my go to fish for fish tacos. Lightly season it, dust with cake flour, and pan fry in just a smidgeon of olive oil.

Am I one of the few remaining dinosaurs that still uses a calculator? My attache always holds a portfolio, a few small notebooks, a few pens, business cards, and always my Texas Instruments BAII Plus. That calculator is basically a gameboy for business dorks. I've been using it almost daily since 2001, and she's still running strong, and I still don't use her to her full capacity.

Maybe because it's that I'm not usually in a college setting, but even when I do hold a lecture I never see people using calculators.

I commissioned a friend to make a custom holster for my TI-83+ but it was mostly to be an over-the-top dorkly fashion accessory. I don't use it THAT often, especially the graphing features, but I like having it on hand.

I also have a slide rule that I used to kind of know how to use but I never kept up with my studies on that front... But I love the technology of a slide rule: something that can do complicated mathematical equations that's basically a couple pieces of painted wood or plastic!

I'm going to love you, like I'm going to lose you. I'm going to hold you, like we're saying goodbye.

TI-86 isn't anything to mess with either.

I need to start referring to my calculator as my Advanced Business Analyst Plus.

...ore maybe I should just keep calling it a calculator.

I always keep my BAII and a TI83 Plus with me. BAII so that I don't have to find present value tables or have formulas memorized when I need to do anything with time value of money. TI83 is because I just find doing more complex calculations so easy on it. Also any business calculations where I use calculus. (Derivatives make the classic accounting inventory problem o so simple).

EDIT: I know the TI83+ has a finance feature as well, but I just like doing it on the BAII with the actual buttons so much more.

I feel like I need to spend hundreds of dollars on lolshirts.com

I also feel like once I do, I could never wear these shirts. I'd really want to though.

That wouldn't go well at all with my scruffy beard and hat though. Besides, I'm a Men's Wearhouse kind if guy.
