Any experience with gamequestdirect.com?

Post by BoringSupreez »

I've known about gamequestdirect.com for a long time, as a supplier of reprints. Has anyone here bought from them before? Are their reprints essentially the same as the originals (ie, literally the exact same, just as if the parent company had produced them) or are they obvious repros?

Never bought directly from them. But I have through gamestop.

A whole bunch of ps2 games back then. I don't exactly remember which ones are the reprints anymore.

I even made an old thread for one that I did do right away. A friend of mine had originals and I got the reprints. Just look for my old fatal frame thread.

Far as I can tell. They are pretty much the same.

I think others here may have more info, but is mine a good start?

The quality of them is pretty close if not on the nose. Sometimes liberties are taken because of the molding they have for a case maybe like 1% different than the original game had. Like Xenoblade which GS did with Nintendo there was this bit of plastic in the case, a reinforcing line along the edge inside of the thing, their reprint had that not there being a different mold. The game itself and booklet were the same.

You probably should just assume they're close but not perfect or hunt around, but they are reliable sellers.
