Smile, got something the kid really ended up enjoying. Was helping out this reseller of games, movies, and seller of other goods I've known for years at the flea today a little. He ended up getting tubs of stuff, and within one (mostly, items spread a little in others) a vsmile v2 console was found, along with another, and 2 of the handhelds, and like 25~ games or so, 2 controllers, a/v cable for one of the handhelds, and 1 ac cord too (all can run on batteries.) I got the whole box for $15. Ultimately 1 console dead, 1 good, both handhelds good, 15 unique games and the others aren't. She loved it, and since they're meant for ages 2-9 it'll last. Outside did hit a vendor got 2 x $2 shirts, a mario one for her with various characters and I got a dark green yellow ink zelda 1 emblem shirt too.

And added smile, last bin at the bottom, gba sp graphite agb101 dead mint and double dragon gb too I got that for $39+5. Very good deals all around. I forgot how beautiful the colors pop and look so vivid on that thing especially with GBC titles.

Rare stuff like this ever happens before as this is not a game area.

Finished up the Adirondack Bench I started yesterday and built a Garden Chair too, because why not. Another gorgeous day so we lounged in the pool too, and then topped the weekend off with some rounds of Sushi Go and Hearthstone.

They look great Mike. You make me ashamed to admit what I accomplish in a day. Are you planning on staining them? It looks like treated wood, just curious if you would stain it for aesthetic purposes. Anyway, nice job. The angles on the seat look comfy.

Neat looking bench and chair.

Thanks to the dudes who chimed in on my current status.

I have a long time friend who has been going through the same issue for years now. He and I have never discussed it before, as we're dudes and would rather not talk about our feelings. But we were on the road for a while and he was playing some kind of death metal so I figured I'd rather talk than listen to his music.

He told me, "The way you have to look at it is that miracles do happen, but they aren't going to happen if you don't 'practice' very often. Use this as a reason and excuse to 'practice' all you can and take advantage of it".

Of course he didn't use the word "practice", but he made a lot of sense. He definitely put a good spin on things.

We talkin' bout practice.

Ticked - back from vacation, inbox maxed out on Tuesday of last week. While on vacation, I got attacked by a red shouldered hawk and he cut my foot up pretty bad. A mockingbird divebombed her when I was shooting pictures.

Smile - the pictures I got of the hawk before and after she attacked are simply amazing. The facility we stayed at wants prints of them for one of their event spaces. Ill post them here after I color correct.

Ticked - I asked my zoologist friend what kind of bird it was after the attack. After he told me I asked if I should worry about disease, he said "only boneitis." Even my doctor friends are smartasses...

 : This week is going to suck bad. So basically my Dad took off on a week long vacation with his girlfriend last week and he is somehow surprised that my Mom is pissed off. Especially since he has been dragging his feet and didn't have the divorce filed till last Thursday(If it was filed no confirmation yet :P). So basically she sent him an email with what was on her mind and a lot of it was how crappy a father he has been to us. So basically he has been pestering me over and over again today asking if he is a "Bad Father". The obvious answer is hell yes, but it's not like I can say that till I have a solid exit strategy to get out of here. Anyways he is now bad mouthing my Mom saying she is just twisting the truth and turning us against him as if we haven't lived with him for years and seen just what type of a man he is.

He just announced that my brother is banned from the house because he took a laundry hamper without permission  . I didn't even notice him take it, but it was my laundry hamper in college so who gives a shit. Hell give this man a Father of the year mug for being such a piece of shit that he will sever ties with his son over a $10 hunk of plastic. What a prick.

Stranded here since my Jeep isn't repaired, but as soon as it's done I'll probably either take off for my Mom's or just get an apartment. The repairs on my Jeep have set me back a bit on finding a more permanent residence.

:? My house is a massive money pit.

However once I get these repairs done, things should be good for awhile.
