Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I always liked Zelda 2 the most out of all the 2D games; I didn't really care too much about the original or Link to the Past. And my overall favorite is Wind Waker. SO YEAH, MY VIEWS ON THE SERIES ARE PRETTY UNCONVENTIONAL. I definitely don't consider myself a "Zelda fan" even though I've played a lot of them and have had fun with them.
But I thought OoT was pretty solid. It has its flaws but it also has a lot of really neat stuff. I liked how it expanded on the world, introducing a wider variety of NPCs and more complex story than had ever been in a previous Zelda game. While there are elements of the gameplay that are flawed, I think it holds up pretty well for a 3D game from the 90s.
It didn't really blow me away or anything, but neither did the earlier ones. Maybe they would have if I played them when they were new.

It's not the game brah, it's the experience. If you can not be solid snake while playing as solid snake, or not be the cool spot while being spot on, you are missing the point.
Games are like life, as they are what you make of them. I think MGS and Twin Snakes are phenomenal as for 1) I played them with one of my best friends ever, and 2) Thought they were incredible games.
Movies, games, art, etc...The question is "Did the final product achieve what it was meant to achieve?". GS did, and in spades.
NBA JAM is pretty terrible as far as b-ball games go (and a ton of fun) but it set out to be an arcade two on two baller game that worked perfectly.Mission accomplished.

Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!

Terminal Velocity's third act really amps up things. Stuff does more damage and is better at targeting you.

Even though the Bulls are my favorite team, there is better team than the Charlotte Hornets in NBA JAM.MrPopo wrote: Plus the Bulls were amazing in it.

WHAT?! NO FOULS?
That's right. No Fouls! This is basketball where breaking the rules is part of the rules! If you can't block a shot-knock your opponents block off. If you can't steal the ball-steal his shorts!"
Oh 90's, how I miss thee.

So ICO turns out to be a huge disappointment. Since I got back in videogames in late 2006 I always read about this super game. Its just a showcase for the ps2. The controls are frustrating, the shadows are irritating, and the princesses is retarded. Only the setting is kind of unique, there isn't much story halfway through the game.
Why is it always connected to Shadow of the Colossus?

I don't like long cut-scenes but its better than sitting and reading walls of texts in a jRPG in my opinion. At least you can enjoy the graphics.BoneSnapDeez wrote:
Metal Gear Solid 4? Laughably bad. Both as a movie and as a "game."
