Thank you for leaving out my rank.
Though in fairness I almost never play Ranked. Casual for daily quests then Arean and Tavern.
This is my favorite Tavern week. Love this mode so much.
And oh yeah, never spent a penny. Just doing dailys always has me sitting on gold. I have over a thousand right now, which isnt uncommon.

Re: Hearthstone thread
I am actually not enjoying this Tavern Brawl at all. I find that 9 times out of ten, I start with a set of cards 5+ and I replace them to get cards at 5+.
There have been games where I can't make a move outside of my hero power for 3 full turns.

Re: Hearthstone thread
Thanks to Blu I bought the Naxxramus mission set tonight (through the first 2 already).
We also bought a ton of packs - but only pulled one legendary. We did get a few rares and epics we've wanted though. Our Warrior deck went from terrible to pretty mean overnight.
The only legendary we pulled was:

Re: Hearthstone thread
So, this is weird.
Over the past 3 days i've gotten so many great cards...my decks are no longer flowing like they used to.
Meaning, before, everything complemented each other pretty well. Now that I have so many cool cards my decks don't seem to have any flow - just a random assortment of cool cards.
As an example; I used to have a lot of complimentary mechs, particularly in my Mage deck; but now that I have Grim Patron, Violet Teacher, Young Priestess, Maexxna, Emperor Thaurissian...I feel like they are all such good cards they should be in my decks too. So, I remove Mech Warper, and Micro Machine...but that means I no longer have cheap minions to throw down early and it means Goblin Blastmage is pretty useless now. Micro Machine used to be a must, X2, for each deck - not I can't even find room for him. It's crazy that the better my cards are the harder it has become to build a good deck.

Re: Hearthstone thread
I added Mike and found my friend code, jmbarnes101#1371.
I've competed in the Arena, poorly the first couple times it seems, and hopefully I get better.
Can anyone tell me what the blue stuff in the bottle does? I have 75 of it that I've won now and no idea what to do with it. Also, how do I enter the Tavern? Is there something I need to do so that it shows up? I'm only playing this on my iPhone if something is different.

Re: Hearthstone thread
You have 75 crafting dust. I assume you won it in the arena.
You can disenchant cards you have for dust (at 1/8th to 1/4th) of their crafting value.
Example: Leper Gnome
If you have him and don't want him - you can disenchant him for 5 dust (he's a common - white gem).
Now, lets say you've been seeing a lot of Knife Juggler and would like him - he is a RARE (blue gem). He costs 100 to craft. So, right now you have 75, with 25 more you can craft a rare card.
I'm saving up to craft a legendary - I seem to get all the rares I need in packs, but legendaries are few and far between. A legendary cost 1600 to craft.
You can only have (2) of something in your deck, so if you have 3 leper gnomes, you should definitely disenchant one. I don't recommend disenchanting anything until you have 3 of it - you may be surprised by what cards have value the more you play.
If you click on "my collection" you will see a blue crafting icon on the bottom, if you click that it will auto-tabulate all of your triplicates - hit "disenchant" and it will get rid of all of your triples and give you more dust.
Tavern Brawl is dark on Monday and Tuesday. You should have access Wed-Sun.

Re: Hearthstone thread
Thanks for the info, much appreciated.
So when you build a deck you can only use two of one card but what if you want that card in more then one deck? Wouldn't you need 2 of that card for each deck?

Re: Hearthstone thread
Each deck is unique - you can have up to 9 decks. You can do 5 Warlock and 4 Priest, 9 Warrior, or one of each hero, etc - whichever you prefer. Many players will have 9 decks for the same hero - a taunt, a spell, a control, a weapon, a legendary, a mech, a small minion, etc - 9 differently themed decks for how they want to play that night.jmbarnes101 wrote:Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

Regardless of all that - if you have 2 micro machines - you can have 2 in each of your 9 decks. If you only have 1 micro, you can have up to 1 in each deck. Obviously if you have 0, you can't put him in any decks yet.
We should play tonight.
