GOG has both:

https://www.gog.com/game/sid_meiers_alpha_centauri

Those collections include the original games and their expansions.

Yep, I can confirm as well, as I own them both! :)

(I also still have my original discs. Ironically, it wasn't me that played them as much, but my brother. He especially loved Total Annihilation. That music is burned into my brain. ;) )

My friend says one of the Uncharted games, I think the 3rd, is amazing to play with 3D glasses. Any one can confirm?

@Ack

I know most of those games, the graphics don't look so much better than consoles of that time. Well, the PSX specifically.

It's a little jarring actually, I tried it for a bit and then turned it off.

Thanks, I couldn't quite confirm that the original game was in those. Thanks

Nah, no worries, just giving you examples of stuff that came out on PC at the time. The mid-90s was a graphically awkward time.

Far as I know, Uncharted 3 is the only one to have supported 3D glasses (the PS4 port of it won't). It has a reputation to be a great use of it.

I haven't tried it, as the only 3D TV I have is the Playstation 3D Display, and I didn't like wearing those glasses over my regular glasses.

Avoid expending money on anything 3D related, it's a gimmick and a bad one. Even the 3DS decided to ignore the 3D and go for more touch control's functionality. Also how fast did Sony ditch the 3D idea? There's almost no games that support the 3D and i dont now how expensive the 3D TV's should be.

3D is the worst thing that could have come back i can't go into the movies anymore because the 3D movies cost extra and they only show 3D movies of the popular stuff.

On a less grumpy though a new episode of my favorite podcast is up. Yay.

I don't know about this. The 3D effect on the 3DS is, IMO, pretty solid, and Nintendo still employs it for most of its games.

So color me surprised when I was prompted for a firmware update. :o
Must have been a good 3-4 years since the last one Sony put out?
It's a fairly recent update too; I'd say I had turned my on within the last 6 months prior to just a couple weeks back when it prompted the update. I still log onto PSN through my PSP to download any small cross-buy titles I happen to snag.
