Haha, I own all three, and Batman Forever is the only one of those I haven't beaten. I wonder why that could possibly be...
Finally got a chance to watch this one.

Some years back, when most SNES games were still at decent prices, I blindly picked up Batman Returns when I went on a SNES beat em up binge. "This game is awesome!" That's what I was thinking the entire time I was playing it, and I probably unconsciously said it out load at least once.

So someone had a CIB copy of Batman Forever up for cheap here on RB, and I decided to again make a blind game purchase. I guess I was thinking that Batman Returns was awesome, so Forever is probably just as good. Of course, I was completely wrong. I fired it up and spent maybe a minute on the first level. Where they hell do you go? The digitized sprites look nice, but everything is REALLY dark. Why are the characters so well lit when the area is almost pitch black? I turned it off after a minute and haven't played it since.

Adventures of Batman and Robin looks awesome though, both the SNES and Genesis version. I'll definitely have to try them out!

I'm surprised you didn't mention the hideous price for Super Turrican 2...

I really love Super Turrican 1/2 and Mega Turrican. The earlier games I'm not as big on since they have more European-designed platformer eccentricities like no knockback from enemies or temporary invincibility frames upon taking damage. It's just not something I was ever able to get used to. Turrican 2 has its charms though.

That said I was really excited for Gunlord when it came out on the Dreamcast and it was everything I wanted it to be. I highly recommend any fans of Turrican pick that up before the price gets too obscene.

Haha, I loved the little bit about action figure commercials. I use to think the same thing when I was younger.

I still gotta catch up on the two recent videos.
