Sounds about right. The level cap is 200. I think I reached in the 120s or 140s. I constantly played. All of fine too. The thing that kept me going was the drops. I played with one buddy a lot via split screen after school during high school.

We'd see a red box and went "RARE" and raced for it. Good times.

As far as games that I have times for... I haven't played many long games on Steam, so these are the only ones I've played for 20ish hrs or more:
Civilization 5 - 24 hrs
Batman: Arkham Asylum - 19.4 hrs

I seem to play a lot more on my 3DS though:
Conception II - 59 hrs
New Leaf - 51 1/2 hrs
HM: A New Beginning - 43 hrs
Picross 3D - 35 hrs (not including time I spent w/ it on my DS)
Fire Emblem Awakening - 24 hrs

I generally spend the most time on consoles, but I can't remember how long I spent on most of them... I do remember that I put in about 90 hrs into Persona 4 though! (that is still pretty small compared to many of your guy's times though )

Other than that... I put in a ton of time in the 4 or 5 years I spent playing Mabinogi. I also used to play a lot of osu! but I wouldn't be able to estimate the time I put in either game ><;

At a point in time, the work they have put towards their character will cease to exist. This is why I gave up on MMOs. You can play a game with the MMO style of gameplay in a single/small scale multiplayer game and still have your character and experience regardless. The characters you leveled up in Phantasy Star Online is still there even after the servers closed. Asheron's Call 2....not so much.

Well every two years they put out a new expansion in WOW, so all that work you put into getting the best gear in those past two years is quickly made obsolete with the items you find in the new zones. But that really isn't the point of WOW, its all about the experience.

Perhaps I don't recall older ones as my top three overshadow everything I played before them:

1. Monster Hunter Freedom 2/ Unite on PSP 700+ hours
2. Monster Hunter 3U on 3DS 500+ hours
3. Monster Hunter 4U on 3DS 300 hours and still playing

I know for a fact my Disgaea play has over 500 hours. That's the only one that is even remotely that high. Maybe Phantasy Star 2 has 200+

I don't really keep up with this sort of thing, but I do know that King of Fighters XIII, Street Fighter X Tekken, Vampire Savior and Street Fighter III: Third Strike would be at the very top.

And 95% of that time would probably be training mode.

My Steam time on KOFXIII is 58 hours, and I didn't even start playing it on Steam until recently, most of my time with the game has been on the PS3.

Over 27,000 hours in WoW (more than 3 years /played). Quit a couple years ago.

On console, certainly FF10. Probably around 250 hours across different versions.
