I would say the dog can only be knocked unconscious like most major character in Bethesda games. Hopefully they will give an option to leave him at base or he will have wait command so you don't have to bring him everywhere.Snatch1414 wrote:I have some skepticism about the dog as well. Either way the idea is a little fuzzy. Maybe if they made it clear early on that he was trained to hide from danger and just run away any time there's a confrontation it would still be a little odd but that seems the most sensible to me.
If he can't die I would say that they are probably going to kill him off in the last 30 minutes of the game for feels
