Or just start working out. I eat over 3,000 calories a day, and I only go to the gym for 30 minutes each day. Somehow that works out for me.
Japanese convenience stores have plenty of healthy food, which is part of why I'm in the 7/11 off base much more frequently than the US-ran gas station on base. They've got rice rolls, grilled meat, fruits, vegetables, curry, seafood snacks, boiled eggs, and most of the teas in the drink fridge are unsweetened. The possibility is already there, Americans would just rather eat candy and greasy crap.darsparx wrote:And yet i'd still argue that there's probably been someone who's figured out how to turn the "quick corner mart" type grocery shopping into healthy on the cheap, and that if one person has done it there's others who could manage it.
