Maglite Torch and Varta Batteries question

hi members , i want to get a Maglite Torch sometime this year and i want to get rechargeable batteries with charger.


the total cost is about $100 AUS , im worried about one thing tho the Varta D Batteries are 1.2V and i think they will not work correctly and have to be recharged constantly.


am i wrong ? i hope i am i dont want to buy Alkaline Batteries repeatedly

They should work, but they'll last slightly less than normal batteries.

Thats why they're rechargeable.

I use energizer AA rechargeable batteries in my wiimote. They say 1.2v on them and they work fine.

Bright flashlights will drain batteries quicker though. So the longevity of them is up to how much you charge and recharge them.

But you'll still be saving money and batteries in the long run
