We started out 10-0; I kid you not.

Had to go to bathroom; told the kids they could keep it rolling; Aidric walks in 5 mins later, in tears, "we're 10-1 - Emlynn played DIE INSECT before killing the 2/2 welp! We had it! You need to come back!"

A whole new level of addiction just began...

Also, Fast, i'm deadly seriously considering something exactly like you posted, complete with carved wooden chairs the shape of Legendary card surrounds.

For perspective - i've probably been playing games 6-7 hours a week the past 5 years, if you average it out. So roughly, 300-350 hours a year.

I've been playing 2-4 hours A DAY the past month; easily 100 hours. The best part is, 5 of us play together - so there is still family time. Tagan reads "Oh the places you'll go" on a loop; and like clockwork, i'll assassinate a minion and he'll holler, "No, that's not for you". Brilliant.

alright the Tavern just completely changed the game. Wow. Hearthstone is the best $0 you can spend.

I feel like I *asked* for this too. I emailed Mike a week or two ago about how I felt I was plateauing as far as my skills went. Was getting discouraged. "Maybe I need to take a break?" I felt like I was in a rut with my decks and needed to learn strategy better.

One of the things I mentioned: I wish there was a mode where they just gave you a Hero and a deck and you had to make the best of it. Sort of level the playing field.

Boom! They announce Tavern coming.

I'm not sure what it's gonna be but I get excited. Start playing again - different Heroes. I start to enjoy using Warlock and Shaman and Rogue for the first time. And then they hit us with this. Wow.

Tavern has reminded me why I adore this game. Tonight I was using Heroes I didn't know, cards I didn't know, not many Taunts in the deck, 60 Hero Health... it was all so different and interesting. I ended up doing a Tavern run and went 7-1. Just feeling reinvigorated about my game.

The best - BEST - game of the night went on for nearly 25 minutes. 15 of those minutes the other guy had me down to 1 Health. Think about how nail-biting that is. He's got 40+ and I have 1 and I just keep going, heart pounding, until I eek out a victory. Felt amazing.

Such a great game, this.

playing a ranked match. Guy has me on the ropes, is going to kill me the next turn. I say, "Well Played," and he must have jumped away from his desk in victory, thinking that I would concede..because he went afk....I won

New Tavern Brawl is another good'in. Lot's of strategy to be worked out with these bananas / filling up opponent hands / when to not kill minions / beefing up certain characters. Looking forward to experimenting with this.

oh nice, I'll check it out tonight. Pillars Of Eternity has actually managed to distract me from Hearthstone the last few nights.

This new Tavern Brawl is something else. Play a spell, get a minion of the same mana value. So cool, probably my favorite so far.
