Until they lose the seal. Then you gotta replace them or get them "blown out" which is almost the same price.

:? : Ebay is a great place if you want to sell stuff fast, but man can some of the users be annoying. I've had a guy badgering me since yesterday to end an item early and hand deliver it to him  so that he can save on shipping. He is really adamant about me either driving 30 miles or letting him come out to my house which really isn't cool either way. Really getting a bad vibe from the guy, but there really isn't much I can do since if I block him he can easily just create another account to harass me with. Really hoping he just drops it once the auction ends and I really hope he doesn't win and get my address off the shipping label :P.

:D I was discharged from the hospital yesterday following my splenectomy. I haven't had to take any pain killers in the past 2 days so I am doing pretty well. Sitting and normal walking is relatively pain free. Last night was the first time since Thursday night that I got some quality sleep.

What pissed you off so badly that you had to vent your spleen?

I've been struggling with a low platelet count for about a year now. I've been on prednisone for about 7 months to keep my count up. Because I've been responding to the prednisone treatment, they are pretty sure that my spleen was attacking my platelets. By removing the spleen I will gradually be able to get off the prednisone (which is awful to take for long periods).

Good to hear you're okay bmoc. Prednisone is a weird drug. I wonder if the costs outweighs the benefits. Feel free to elaborate on it as when I've had friends take it...oh boy. They were not the same.

Here is me on TV doing my best Mr. Burns impersonation:

I'm past pale, and more like "glow in the dark" and who knows what's up with my hair. Feel free to say "You look like shit" because I felt like it. Could have looked a lot worse.

Last night all was gravy as we were having an NC BBQ cookout at a friend's house while binging on Orange is the New Black. All of a sudden I felt light headed, stood up, and went unconscious. I tried to stand up, had (my first and hopefully my last) a seizure, fell back down, and gave my noggin a concussion.

I think it all happened because I'm an idiot. I had one bite of sausage the entire day, and all I remember is standing up, and then eating some corn. My body doesn't say "I'm hungry", so some days I don't eat. I need to work on that as the bruise over my eye is starting to show, and she isn't pretty. Also I was at a friend's house who is a nurse, and she wanted to check my blood sugar, pulse, etc., but that just created more anxiety.

As for a silver lining, I don't remember any of it. Zero recollection of spazzing out, and I feel "normal". Bad stuff is that my Mother recently had a stroke so I won't be mentioning this to her, and that medicals suck balls. Even worse is that my wife freaked out. I'd freak out too if she fell down and spazzed out, but she's on constant "alert mode".

You've got like, the traces of the accent they have in your voice. It's really distracting; it's not full on like theirs and it probably doesn't help that I'm expecting you to sound like the people I grew up with.

I actually play up the accent a bit.

...It helps sell raffle tickets if I don't "sound like some Yankee". And holy cow if I don't look like a ghost compared to the dude and dudette next to me. On a scale from 0 to 1, 1 being the whitest, I am:
