Just found Donkey Kong Country 2 SNES for $5 at a thrift store! Great Deal! Been wanting this one for a loooong time, and now I have all the SNES DKC games!

What's funny is this particular store never really has any games and I pretty much stopped going there haha. Got lucky this time.

Now off to Gangplank Galley Ye skally-wags!

That's such a good deal. I paid 23 for mine from my local retro store.

Dear Video Game Look What I Found:

I never thought it would happen to me.

I stopped by a local pawn shop this morning assuming it would be picked over. (I mean, I do visit it with some frequency.) Most of the usual over-priced games were still sitting there, but I noticed a pile of complete PS1 games sitting behind the counter. I asked how much they were, and the manager said that each game was $0.99. At that price, and after looking through the stack, I decided to buy all of them. I got:
Jeopardy :(
and
Pong :?
and
Chrono Cross :)
The pile also had:
all of the Tomb Raider games :?
and
Hooters Road Trip :D
I was pretty pleased with it, but then I saw:
Dead or Alive :)
and
Mega Man Legends 2 :D
YYYYEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!!
I also picked up The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD for $10.

Sincerely,

It was actually pretty tough.

Moreover, the store's card readers were down, and I had to go up the street to get cash before I could buy the games. Although I had them set aside for me, someone else was perusing them when I left, and it made for a few tense minutes.

He ended up being more interested in the Final Fantasy games that were included with the set (i.e., Final Fantasy Anthology and Final Fantasy Chronicles). After I bought the games, we discussed our mutual affection for the series, and I ended up just giving those games to him. (They were "greatest hits" titles; I already owned them; they only set me back $2; and he had never played any Final Fantasy games before Final Fantasy VII.)
