I don't have an Xbox One or PS4, and likely never will, so I can't say who won and Nintendo's Digital Event seemed more like a Nintendo Direct, though the puppets rocked, but it was still fun and informative. Everything I and/or my kids saw for the Wii U and 3DS looked either fun or interesting and something one of us wants to play starting with the Smash DLC, Earthbound Beginnings, and the Indie Promo Demos. The Animal Crossing Wii U game was a nice reveal and especially as a family game and I thought Metroid looked interesting as well despite not being what most wanted. There was even a Chibi-Robo game and Amiibo reveal. I'm glad people are finding games across all platforms they want since everyone has different tastes and things that get them excited.

Just a quick note that there is a E3 sale going on in the Nintendo eShop right now for anyone that's interested.

Was hoping for some more interesting 3DS stuff but I'm not really wanting a multiplayer Zelda or a multiplayer... sort of... Metroid Prime. That's not the Metroid we all keep asking you for Nintendo. Dammit.

"kid with the monster" and "that girl with robot dinos" are awesome. Girl with robot dinos is one of my favorite game concepts ever. Its like a playable Heavy Metal magazine. And come on, freaking robo dinos!

You are completely fine in your opinions, and I don't mean to seem patronizing. But after rewatching the Horizon stuff I'm really excited. Post-apocalypse crossed with fantasy is like my favorite thing since sliced bread. Not that I was all that excited about sliced bread, but you get the point.
The setting of Horizon is extremely cool. It's an excellent twist on the old "after the end" scenario. I loved the tribal vibe mixed with slapped together technology and a bow that would make Hawkeye blush. It's a world I badly want to learn more about. Of all the gameplay footage shown at E3 I think I got into that the most.

So I've largely stopped caring about Tomb Raider since it starting being an Uncharted clone and catering to obnoxious modern trends (multiplayer and far too much emphasis on shooter mechanics), but this has me cautiously hopeful

http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/06/17/ ... thats-good

I feel like I'm giving an ex a second chance with this game, but it seems to be returning to a lot of its roots. Back when Tomb Raider wasn't Uncharted with a chick

Catching up on the PC show now.

A new Total War game, first time not using a historical setting, it's Warhammer!
Killer Instinct on PC!
Gears of War Ultimate Edition on PC (at 4K)

Enter The Gungeon looks great.

nomansskyomgiluvu.
Bogus, seriously, space botanists, lets do this.

Other stuff I saw that's interesting:
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 was shown, doesn't look too bad, looks a lot like 2.

Apparently Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls will make it over to PS4.

Back to when it was Indiana Jones with a chick.

Yep, not as big as Sony's but up to 30% off on games featuring Yoshi, Legend of Zelda, and Mario plus Lego and Let's Dance. Minnish Cap for $5.59 is a nice deal if you don't have it elsewhere.
