Alcoholism, Mother Issues, and Shame

Post by Luke »

The most thought provoking interview I've watched in over a decade.

In short, there's a rapper who goes by Yelawolf, who is on e sports show.

Why? Good question.

Not to talk about sports.

Not to talk about or promote an album.

He's just there and all of a sudden he goes into a confessional concerning his alcohol abuse. And the entire interview is extremely bizarre.

Watching the exchange and the reaction of all four of the people, and the direction of the interview is so...there isn't a word for it.

You have the confessional, the standard "I'm not a role model" speech which I can't tell if the dude is honest or not (his moniker is yelawolf, so it's difficult to buy what he's selling), you have Bomani looking like his brain just exploded, talks on Mommy issues, etc.

I don't care if you want to post about alcoholism/the music industry/Mommy issues/Valentine's Day, or any of the other subjects brought up in this interview, I just want to hear your thoughts on the interview.

i'm not familiar with that show, they act like a bunch of clowns though. up till the 4:00 mark i thought he answered their bizarre questions ok,then he did go off on a bit of a tangent. nothing shocking, i'm not sure of the forum or point of his interview was though. i remember him being homeless around my area back in the day and shit. he's a pretty good rapper. the few songs i've heard off his new cd sound like some whitey ford shit.

I'm familiar with the columnists, but not the show either. Maybe they're like that all the time.

It seemed like the producer said "Just ask about his unfortunate personal problems and mention Eminem". And how Yelewaolf went on and on about his personal life was weird, or staged*, or both.

*He does seem to glance over at his manager a lot.

The subject of this thread needs some help. It should probably say something, anything, about the content of the thread. Clickbait bad! You are not Diply!

I hope you aren't Diply, otherwise I might have to hunt you down for the evils you perpetuate against Facebook news feeds.
