difficulty of the MGS series ?

Actually the bad ending is non-cannon, so I think it is better to get the good ending. And the link in my last post explains how to do the pen lid trick, you don't need to buy a turbo controller (can't Ocelot detect those anyways?), just a ped lid.

Not if you plug it in after the torture starts. That was the method I used anyway. I've heard rumours that it doesn't even detect. It's just messing with your head. I've never really bothered trying. I only even used the turbo once to see if you could cheat.

I was also commenting on the easiest method. Not the cheapest. Who knows he might have a turbo pad for PS1/PS2 lying around. I know I have, I don't even remember buying it either, it does have an awesome micro-switched d-pad though (very similar to the Neo Geo Pocket's).

I still prefer the bad ending. I think it fits Snake's character more. Regardless of canon.

I agree I will be running through this again so I guess I gotta wait for my stealth cammo

I beat it with my uber l337 button smasher-3000


I drilled two 1/32" holes in the head of this cheap electric toothbrush and fitted in a loop of stainless weld rod. I covered the button w/ masking tape so it wouldn't get all scratched up. as the head rotates it pushes the button vastly faster than I could ever possibly do by hand.

I'll use this in the microwave hallway for shure. been reading there's torture scenes in the other MGS games too. hope it'll come in handy.

if you can beat that scene w/o any real hassle...well, your girl friend must love you that's all I can say.
