I hated Wind Wanker then and I hate it now.
Man...I thought you had good taste. (Seriously, the Wind Waker is a pretty awesome Zelda game. If you haven't seen it through to the end, you should do so. There is some deep sh*t going on there.)

In any event, Nintendo will not release a bas Metroid game, and I suspect the new one for the 3DS will be pretty fun (regardless of what people say about it now).

I do have good taste, that's why I know Wind Wanker tastes like crap.

Honestly, I saw some stuff I'd like to play, but was pretty unimpressed overall with Nintendo's showing. And folks know I'm a big Ninty fan. Of course, I didn't see a lot elsewhere, either, so... eh. It was going to be hard to match some of the megaton reveals that happened earlier, regardless of whether or not I have any interest in them.

Agree with prior sentiments about Other M. Gamers are getting what they deserve with the series languishing in obscurity, all because folks overreacted to perceived as slights against Samus, or outright hatred for the structure, which was somewhat Fusion-ish in nature. Many treated it as one of the worst games ever, so what did they expect?

By the way, I'm predicting this is going to happen with the FFVII remake. Some of the fans are so rabid that nothing will ever please them.

I think the graphics for Federation Force are a good idea for something on the 3DS screen. Yes, they could go with a more realistic model but you risk making it harder to see what's going on.

What really annoys me is that one of the biggest things people complained about makes perfect sense if you actually know the backstory. Yes, the whole Varia suit being turned on after you run through the fire was dumb, but the PTSD was legit.

I am with you on this. I am a huge Nintendo fan and I felt very underwhelmed. Yes, some FF VII fans will complain because it won't fit their exact image of what FF VII is, but they need to get over it.

Oh like you've never done crazy things in Germany while on a bathsalt addled binge.

As for Other M, I was not saying it's a bad game. I am actually neutral towards it, as I've not played it yet.

And yeah, Sarge, don't know what Nintendo's up to, but nothing they showed set my pants on fire. The Mario & Luigi VS Paper Mario fusion could be interesting. Yoshi's Woolly World looks good. The new Star Fox did not impress me (but it looked pretty beta so I'm keeping that in mind). At least we know Xenoblade Chronicles X will be awesome.

MrPopo, I don't know man. Monster Hunter 4 looks amazing on 3DS and manages to pull off multiplayer without issue.

New Metroid vid:

I don't think it looks bad in motion. Stills look a tad iffy.

New Wii U and 3DS stuff looks awesome, as I predicted.

Anything coming out on Vita?

Nintendo actually has a pretty great E3 presence this year. It's just too bad it wasn't all represented in the Digital Event. Also they were very specific about their time table, it's all 2015 and Q1 (or Q2) 2016. Which means anything a year or later from now is under wraps.

They did mention once Treehouse live started, that Platinum games, and specifically Yusuke Hashimoto.

Treehouse Live is showing off Metroid Prime Federation Force. This doesn't look bad at all. It's a four player coop Metroid game. Graphically it's very similar to Prime 1 on GameCube.

Betting my money that NX comes out Fall of 2016.

Yeah that Zelda is coming to Wii U.

Just like Twilight Princess came to GameCube.
