I guess the Wii U will be another N64 and not get a Metroid at this point.

I blame everyone that didn't buy a copy of Metroid: Other M. It was a really good, great looking game with some unfortunate design choices, but everyone sh*t all over it and, in doing so, ended up killing the franchise.

Hey hey... I was that guy... but I have a copy now because I need to play it for myself.

The standouts for me:

Nier 2 : U WOT?

BC on Xbox One : Honestly super happy that it's coming. Seems to be a better solution than PSNow at any rate. I'll take limited compatibility over cloud gaming thank you.

DOOM : It's Doom. Easily one of my favorite franchises. Other than the gross sepia filter, it looks great.

Final Fantasy 7 : I never played much of this despite having access. I played much more of IX when I was a kid. Maybe I'll finally be able to get it with the remaster.

Horizon : Gorgeous and the premise is one I can get behind

Metroid Prime: Federation Force is supposedly multiplayer only, clearly Hunters inspired. Graphics are cutesy-fied and look like crap IMO.

Nintendo should have gave us a new Prime on the 3DS with awesome 3D effects. Or a 2D styled Metroid with 3D parallax layers for backgrounds. But not this junk.

I waited five long years for Fatal Frame 4. FIVE GOD DAMN YEARS. Before the Big N finally said no.

I haven't seen footage yet of it. I loved Hunters more than a reasonable amount but I don't know that's what anybody else wanted.
