I guess the Wii U will be another N64 and not get a Metroid at this point.
Nintendo's was a little lackluster to me.
- Mario Maker is day one for me, hope the online is good
- Yoshi's Wooly World looks better than expected! Looks cooler than the Kirby yarn game to me
- Star Fox looks great
Good stuff, but it doesn't measure up to the rest of E3 hype for me haha.

Yep...like what I posted in the Shenmue 3 thread...because I'm dumb and love Shenmue, I was disappointed. I knew about all of this stuff and what was newly announced didn't interest me. I mean, sure, an animal crossing board game could be cool, but is it system selling? No. I wanted me a new Animal Crossing game in general, not a board game.
I don't know...Shenmue 3 ruined everything. Nothing could compare!

I think this is the first year that none of the big three made me say WOW. There were a couple "thats beautiful" or "holy crap" but nothing announced stopped me in my tracks. If I had to chose a "winner" for me so far, its that Starfox was inspired by Gerry Andreson's Thunderbirds:

I blame everyone that didn't buy a copy of Metroid: Other M. It was a really good, great looking game with some unfortunate design choices, but everyone sh*t all over it and, in doing so, ended up killing the franchise.
