Xbox version will have the cheesy English dub. I've got it on the DC, it's got subtitles in English with Japanese audio. It makes hawking at Lucky Hit stands a little less boring.

Definately Dreamcast. It feels much nicer to import your save and continue on exactly as you left off.

Xbox version also gets the gender of one of its characters a little...confused in the western dub.

It has some nicer filters and a camera mode but that's all I remember about it. Maybe quicker load times?

Can I import a save from an NTSC Dreamcast Shenmue 1 to PAL Shenmue 2?

Any one else was surprised it only costs $2m to do Shenmue 3? Microsoft could have easily funded this to have it an exclusive for Xbox One.

Also, I am starting to notice many indie/startup studios are given the rights to build sequels for copyrighted IPs lately. I know many of them are the original creators.

It cost a lot more than 2 million to make Shenmue 3.

For whatever reason, I beleive Sony is publishing it, but still let the kickstarter do the talking. I think it was a way of gauging interest- if this can get funded, which it did, then they know it is worth it to put their money up with the game. Which, while it is a bit of business mumbo jumbo to do, it is better for Sony themselves.

Was Shenmue bigger in Europe than in the US? I'm kind of surprised that many of the stretch goals are language tracks.

More like, be it Sega or someone else, told them if they could raise X amount, they'd invest Y amount.

No. You have to have pal all the way through sadly

Nintendo's presser did nothing for me. Star Fox looks great and I will love it, disappointed that no real Animal Crossing game was announced on Wii U. The boardgame may be interesting, but we will see. I just didn't see anything new that interested me. I guess they are just waiting for the NX?
