Xbox One
Re: Xbox One
Meh, I'm bored of Halo, never cared for Fable or Gears of War. At this point I'm glad I didn't pick one up and don't think I'll ever regret not getting one. The PS4 exclusives are already starting to pile up.

Re: Xbox One
They said they'd have 100 games backwards compatible by end of year. They're usual broad, noticeable changes that take way too long to implement or end up being half-assed. We'll see.
I'm interested in the new controller if only because remapping any way in any game is a godsend. Shouldn't even be a problem these days but here we are. Plus in shooters I can sometimes use one or two more buttons.
EDIT: The Rare Collection is an automatic buy for me. Never played many of those

There's a lot more to the system then those games, even more so if you want the game on the lead development platform.Xeogred wrote:Meh, I'm bored of Halo, never cared for Fable or Gears of War. Re: Xbox One
IF I had an Xbone, Rare Replay would be the top of my list. $1 a title, for 30 of their best games. Hell getting RC Proam 2 and Conker for that price is a steal.

I want Remedy's games, though I imagine they'd eventually hit PC like Alan Wake did.Stark wrote:There's a lot more to the system then those games, even more so if you want the game on the lead development platform.Xeogred wrote:Meh, I'm bored of Halo, never cared for Fable or Gears of War. Sorry to rag on it, I just feel like this gen more than ever before, owning a PS4 totally negates any need for a One (and vice versa).
Re: Xbox One
I agree that this is the current popular sentiment, which means that they (Microsoft and Sony) will try even harder to provide unique games exclusively for their systems and so far there are more of those on Microsoft's side as far as I've seen. I can only think of Bloodborne and The Order that are exclusive games I've played on my PS4. Meh, my opinion is to buy all the systems, so what do I know.Xeogred wrote:I want Remedy's games, though I imagine they'd eventually hit PC like Alan Wake did.

There was a specific line, "pop in your disk, the game will download, and you're ready to play." Makes me think they're just migrating a bunch of 360 games to digital format that plays on the One.Snatch1414 wrote:They said they'd have 100 games backwards compatible by end of year. Yep, so what you are seeing is a digital marketplace for 360 games as well as unlocking the game for free by putting in the disc and downloading it for free...Makes me wonder how that affects people who rent video games? Will it just require the disc to be put in to play?MrPopo wrote: There was a specific line, "pop in your disk, the game will download, and you're ready to play." Also, only 100 games will be backwards compatible, so I am curious to see how this plays out. When people think, "Oh the system is backwards compatible," the answer is, kind of.
Can't wait to see the photoshops of the Minecraft hologram. What is on the table!?

I wouldn't mind playing a few 360 games.
30 Rare games sounds awesome. The pirate game looks intriguing as well.
