There is only one TV in my house; so, that feature is huge for me (i.e., my wife can read a book in peace or watch something else on TV while I play a recently released console game.)

I downloaded a GBA game from the eShop and there was something that just felt weird about it to me, so I decided to play it on the Gamepad with off-TV. It works perfectly for that, the Gamepad is like a bigger GBA. But yeah, off-TV play must be huge for some people.

As someone with a three year old at home who enjoys Nick Jr. more than life itself, I can't begin to tell you how much I love Off TV Play and really wish more consoles took advantage of it in the way the Wii U does. The controller is fantastic to boot. Been playing Pikmin 3 and while I was hesitant at first, the controls couldn't feel more natural.
Collects promo gaming stuff, certain import games, hockey memorabilia, and other oddball things. (sig and avy under construction)

Hey I'm glad you are enjoying Pikmin 3. This was the first Pikmin game I have played, as I was very put off by the real-time strategy genre which is one that I have a difficult time with. Luckily, it wasn't much of an issue and this game was an absolute joy to play. There is a lot of charm to the game and ther is so much to do and explore. Finding all the different fruits and the giant creatures to fight make exploration a huge facet of the game and it is one that I loved! Get ready for a big jump in difficulty near the end though. It isn't impossible, but it is challenging.

YES. Now we just need Mother 3 and we'll be set.

What are the default names of the Mother characters? I know the protagonist is "Ninten". No clue on the others.

So what is the general impressions about the Wii U situation after E3? Will Nintendo just release few more titles and call it quits?

Also, any one knows what is the final count for the Wii U library? I tried Wikipedia, it says 500+ games but many are listed as unreleased and TBAs.
