Still playing, but not collecting much any longer.

My GC library hasn't grown because I can't find a good price for Baten Kaitos Origins, Gauntlet, or the handful of rare games that interest me. (Also regret selling Killer 7 and would re-buy if I could find a decent price.) Currently sitting at 53 games and feel like that's enough - might even cut down a bit and dump the Splinter Cell games.

One game that was recently added to my wishlist is Zelda: Twilight Princess. Solid game, but damn.. those Wii waggle controls are garbage and have a really negative effect on the game as a whole. Despite really liking the ability to use a pointer for hookshot/arrows I'd gladly trade my Wii copy for a GameCube version to get rid of that pointless and horribly inaccurate waggle.

Yeah, I'd like Killer 7 too but I don't see myself getting it for a while unless it's out in the wild @ a good price. I was gonna get XIII too but I found a boxed PC copy of that.

I'm glad I got Gauntlet while the price was still decent, it seems to be creeping up and up.

I haven't collected for Gamecube in a few years because I have 125-150 games and I have the ones I want, but I cannot believe some of the prices on the games now! Gotcha Force is $150 complete?? Who would pay that (for that game)?

Gamecube games have definitely been on the rise recently. I am glad I got the bulk of my games for it back when the Wii was in full force and everyone was offloading the old GC stuff. One of my best pawn shop scores was finding about 18 minty AAA titles for $5 a piece.

They were so easy to find at one point that was one the systems I would resell the most games after finding them in the wild. For a while there I couldn't give away F-Zero GX for $5 and now it's back up to $20-$25. :-/

I just started collecting for the system so my collection is very small, but I do own:

CIB:
Loz Collector
Wind Waker
Twilight Princess
Super Monkey Ball
Soul Calibur II
Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door
P.N. 03
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
Star Fox Assault
Lost Kingdoms.
Metroid Prime
Super Smash Bros Melee

Disc Only:
Resident Evil Zero
Eternal Darkness
Resident Evil Code Veronica X

There are plenty of games that I've owned that I've already resold in the past just because I had already played through them a ton of times. (Fire Emblem and Tales of Symphonia to name a few.)

Collecting for the Gamecube is very fun. I'm always on the lookout for another odd game to add to my small collection.

Soldier Blue, those are some of my personal favorites though. So you've also kept some really good ones!

Another one I'd like but those prices -- Super Smash Bros. Melee!

Even Double Dash is averaging $20 cheaper than SSBM is these days!

My current total now sits at 75 (not including a couple of duplicates I plan to sell.)

I'm still trying to track down a couple of the harder to come by games, such as Cubivore, for a decent price, but for the most part I'm pretty much done and my To Get list regarding the system is very small. I've got all of what I consider the classics, and I've got most of the cult classics I've been interested in. I would like a couple of the Resident Evil sequels at some point, but unless I can find them for cheap it's not going to happen. I already have them on different systems after all, and I'm not too keen on paying the prices the Gamecube versions command.

So reading the last few pages I had to look up Killer 7 on Ebay and damn. My Gamecube collection is now down to only 2 games from about 35 4 years ago. I don't really see my self going back unless I want to replay the RE games again.

I don't get why Killer 7 and Gauntlet are hard to come by. I mean, they are not even exclusives.
I think Gauntlet has some exclusive characters or something, but still.
...just another lost soul...
